Drawing on data from Pakistan Economic Survey (2022-23), Pakistan Coalition for Education (PCE) has developed a series of infographics that provide a comprehensive overview of the status of education in Pakistan, including data on the literacy rate, enrolment and dropout rates (by province, gender and age) at different schooling levels as well as figures on education financing.
Each infographic delves deeply into a specific education issue, highlighting the progress achieved against each indicator. Insights drawn from the data captured can aid stakeholders in devising strategies to improve access to quality education, promote gender equality, enhance teacher training and support, reforming curricula, increase education funding, and ensure equitable distribution of resources. Efforts should be made to engage communities, civil society organizations, and international partners to work collaboratively towards improving the education landscape in Pakistan.
